Tibi is hiring for an Assistant Store Manager to support our flagship store in New York City. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in maximizing sales, providing an exceptional customer experience (both in store and virtually) and supporting store inventory accuracy and shipping operations. 

Responsibilities:

Team Development

  • Support the sales team with product knowledge, goal setting, and social media training.
  • Partner with Store Manager to set selling goals for team and work with each team member to ensure success.
  • Work closely with each team member during appointments to teach selling and maximize sales.

Product / Selling:

  • Represents the fashion and style of Tibi, embodying Creative Pragmatism.
  • Oversee all product knowledge for store. 
  • Ensure team is maximizing social media to sell CP idea and Tibictionary.
  • Build and maintain own book of clients both virtual and in-person. Selling should be roughly 40% of role. 
  • Comfortable being on camera for social media purposes.

Store Operations:

  • Manage standards and cleanliness on sales floor and stock room -- participate in monthly stock walks with Store Manager to ensure standards are met.
  • Manage inventory flow and discrepancies -- research negatives in inventory, manage all vouchers and product flow to support accuracy.
  • Support team with all logistical flow -- receiving new shipments, packing and shipping customer orders, DHL.
  • Strive for 100% accuracy and compliance in cash, inventory, and property.
  • Responsible for daily EOD reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience in a luxury or service driven environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent people / coaching skills.
  • Welcomes feedback and is coachable.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
