Description of the Role:

Stock & Supply Chain Assistant is a Full -time position reporting to the Operations Stock & Supply Chain Manager. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we build new processes and new ways of working to achieve the company’s ambitious sales growth. Working with the Operations Stock & Supply Chain Manager as the contact for the Warehousing & fulfilment partners Torque and liaising with our freight forwarders. You will be working closely with a variety of business functions in all matters related to stock and product, will be driven to learn, and become an invaluable team member of a successful fashion brand.

What you will do:

Logistics / Intake

  • Working with production & buying on Freight consolidation of finished garments.
  • Works with freight forwarders and factories on vessel dates, booking and tracking shipments.
  • Ensures product is ready to be available for intake.
  • Master data (pre-advice), packing lists, and customs documentation.
  • Works alongside production to prepare consignment notes for EU CMT shipments.
  • Updates the delivery schedule and makes the product team aware of any delays/issues and provides solutions to resolve.
  • Updates intake tracker for Torque and communicate any priorities, and delays on inbound stock.
  • Communicates any issues that may impact the customer to the customer care team and works to resolve.

Logistics / Torque Management

  • Is the main point of contact between The Fold and all Logistics partners. (Torque/FF’s)
  • Issues torque with weekly intake & dispatch forecasts. (variance to long term plan).=
  • Escalates any day-to-day issues to Supply chain and stock manager and ensures best practice is being followed.
  • Monitoring orders/return levels at Torque and provides guidance on priorities.
  • Works closely with DHL/European carriers.
  • Monitoring deliveries, costs and raising any issues.
  • Contributes to business sustainability practices.

Stock Control

  • Is accountable for actioning stock movements within the business including stocks takes from Torque, Stores.
  • Weekly reconciliation of Torque stock report & NetSuite to negate any shortages issues.
  • Making all necessary NetSuite inventory adjustments. 
  • Working with Torque on faulty garment process and ensuring all stock is accounted for a moved correctly on Netsuite.
  • Understand the throughput of stock through the DC / manages shortages

Reporting & Analysis / Systems

  • Is a business Netsuite super user and fully understands the integration between all relevant systems relating to operations & stock,  works on processes to improve IT integration.
  • Substitutes.
  • UK Returns service tracking.
  • Automated returns email.
  • Global E.
  • Patchwork integration. 
  • Updates consumables report supporting the stock & supply chain manager on the effective ordering of consumables.
  • Is accountable for the maintenance of the delivery schedule.
  • Understands the range plan and impact of stock movements on this and the WSSI.

Projects

  • Supports the Stock & Supply chain manager on any projects by providing analysis to support
