The Team
The BPO Department is the team that drives Buying, Planning & Operational excellence of all the Tommy Hilfiger divisions, within Tommy Hilfiger Europe. Based in the Amsterdam European HQ, the team is split into 4 sub-teams: Project /Process Management & Merchandise Operations Team, NOS Global Demand Planning & Buying Team, Seasonal Global Buying & Planning Team, and Buying Operations Team.
These 4 teams work together in an informal setting to create operational excellence and alignment across all TH divisions.

The Position
As the Buying & Demand Planner ABO you will be part of the Seasonal Global Buying & Planning Team. Ensuring an optimum planning & taking care of the buy placement with our vendors, based on desired KPI's for all Additional Business Opportunities outside of our seasonal collection calendar such as collaborations with other brands, special capsules & re-orders bestsellers. You will work closely with the Merchandisers & product developers of all TH div's, as well as our on- & offshore PVH offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Planning and Buying of Additional (direct) Business Opportunities.
  • Weekly reporting for management.
  • Yearly Comparison Analysis, Buying Reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Communication and planning with global PVH offices, onshore, and offshore.
  • Operational activities around the Buying of these ABO's.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Buying & Planning field.
  • Experience in the Fashion industry.
  • Experience in Stakeholder management and ability to network.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Strong Excel skills, (Excel analytics, pivot tables) and reporting skills.
  • Commercial mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize, organized, and with a proactive working approach.
  • Supportive and ambitious attitude.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • High level of accuracy.
