The Product Associate for Digital Products and Platforms will be responsible for leading small to medium complexity product development projects and/or will support larger scale projects by managing a backlog of prioritized work and working alongside technical teams to ensure prioritized work is delivered on time. This role will also include the review of the existing legacy product functionality and recently implemented functionality to ensure that the functionality is functional and devoid of defects. This role will also be responsible for continuously enhancing their assigned products (legacy or recently released), being sure to properly prioritize and accept enhancement requests based on key business drivers and must-haves for the creation of a retail facing product. This role will be responsible for assisting the team's Product Managers in the development of future product roadmaps to iteratively improve platforms by providing input relating to the "health" of the products being managed by this role and the content of the backlog(s) that this role will manage.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage a backlog of maintenance and enhancement work targeted at keeping their owned product running and thriving
  • Work closely with the technical staff to ensure that maintenance and enhancement work is delivered in a timely manner
  • Communicate delivery timelines for maintenance and enhancement work to broader Product team.
  • Identify and lead prioritization of maintenance and enhancement requests for continuous improvement of owned products
  • Assess end user needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities, and advise on options
  • Develop and execute user acceptance test cases and validate test results
  • Work closely with a Product Manager to develop and implement strategic roadmaps that drive engagement, conversion and retention and deliver constant growth
  • Assist in conducting and synthesizing qualitative research to help define a bold vision for digital products and generate and identify forward-thinking opportunities
  • Leverage analytics to monitor and measure product results, including identifying and flagging potential issues, quantifying improvements, and surfacing new ideas that may lead to breakthroughs in growth or challenges

Required Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of product management practices
  • Varied experiences between IT, business and/or UX teams
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by a range of audiences from business users to senior executives
  • Experience with releases and iterative improvements
  • User testing, script development and execution across global teams
  • Analytical/excellent problem solver
  • Excellent communicator, presenter, and cross-functional partner
  • Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of work experience
  • Background in luxury retail
  • Creative and passionate about building products people love
  • Experience in design thinking
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence
  • Previous BA roles and/or business requirements development
