Senior ABI Technical Support IBP

Purpose

The Analytics & Business Intelligence Centre (ABI) based in Amsterdam is a designated group of Advanced Analytics (AA) & Business Intelligence (BI) professionals with the time and collective know how to:

maximize the company's BI investments;

mapping out Business Intelligence Strategies;

driving Advanced Analytics

The Analytics & Business Intelligence Department has been established to consolidate all of AA and BI efforts under one roof to create powerful business insights.

Objectives

The ABI department is supporting and advising the sales organisations and product divisions on:

• generating standard reporting on key performance indicators for the business,
• creating insights through analytics on sales & distribution, inventory, supply chain and product development data and
• master data policies, governance, standards and monitoring tools.

Organizational Structure

The ABI department has functional teams in the area of (i) Business Partnering, (ii) Report Engineering, (iii) Data Science, (iv) Back-End Development, (v) Business Planning (vi)Data Governance and (vii) Support who work together in an agile project organization.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

ABI Technical Support

PVH is looking for a Technical support engineer to join the ABI team. You will be mainly supporting planning applications using SAP BPC, working closely with functional teams in Amsterdam and stakeholders from Finance & Controlling, Supply chain and E-commerce. OVERVIEW OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support BPC Embedded planning applications
• Responsible for month end closure of planning cycles
• Support and fix incidents for BPC key user community
• Pick up future enhancements to the applications
• Participate in development projects when needed
• Performance optimization
• Pro-active and Enthusiastic

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Position reports to ABI Support Lead

OVERVIEW OF POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Skills:

• 3-7 years of SAP BW experience
• Must have Integrated planning knowledge and experience
• Must have worked on support of SAP BPC (IP or BPC Embd.) before
• Nice to have domain knowledge (Finance, Supply chain or E-commerce business models)
• Understanding and configuration of Business Process flows and Work status
• Understanding of ADSO's, Composite Providers, Data flows in BW 7.5, Input Ready queries in HANA Studio, Planning workbooks in AFO, Planning functions and Sequences
• Understand FOX scripts and ABAP coding skills is a must
• Business minded & action orientated
• Positive, open and inquisitive
• Takes initiative at work and also in learning new technical skills
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English
• Flexibility to support the end users in European business hours (9-6CET) during submission timelines (1 week per month)

EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-7 years of experience with SAP BW and BPC
• Bachelors, Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, bioinformatics, etc.)
