About the Role

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and fast paced environment focused on creating the most inclusive candidate experience for one of the largest apparel brands in the world. Working in Talent Acquisition means you're doing more than filling jobs, you will be a champion of both the business and talent. You identify, develop, and execute effective sourcing strategies to build teams and organizations. You are responsible for finding talent that no one else can through the relationships you build and the creative and innovative sourcing techniques you employ. Working in close partnership with Gap Inc. business and HR leaders in India and in the US, you provide the best practices in Talent Acquisition and promote our company as employer of choice in India!

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for full lifecycle talent acquisition across functions in Gap Inc. Hyderabad Development Center in India
  • An integral part of the Talent Acquisition team by formulating and executing strategic initiatives, logistics planning, hiring manager and candidate management.
  • Source candidates in creative, cost effective ways (e.g social networking, research and market mapping, employee referrals, advertising)
  • Proactively build diverse candidate talent pools in key functions and manage relationships with potential candidates to pipeline for future recruitment opportunities.
  • Work with hiring managers on recruitment best practices and ensure positive and inclusive experience with candidates
  • Work in close partnership with HR business partners, Compensations, Rewards and Operations
  • Manage Recruiting module on Workday - from posting openings to hiring candidates on Workday
  • Maintain high data integrity and policy compliance
  • Implement employer branding initiatives and promote employer of choice in the region
  • Amplify the company vision and culture to inspire a diverse pool of talent
  • Manage projects and program execution within area of specialty and ensures quality of work
  • Act as a trusted TA advisor with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Plan and conduct campus recruitment for early career talent and manage relationship building with universities/colleges/TPO
  • Manage vendor partner relationships and build network to generate passive talent pool
  • Seek out and leverage industry, competitor, and other business trends to ensure we stay ahead of the competition
  • Responsible for team's results. Share responsibility of resources, budget and adherence to policies with team


Who You Are

  • Master's/ Bachelor's Degree and full lifecycle recruiting experience in recruitment firms/ global companies, preferably IT/Tech recruitment experience.
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and work in a large and matrixed team environment
  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
  • You're a problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement. You're always learning and can effectively articulate opportunities and new strategies to business partners, driving results and being solution oriented
  • You're great at multitasking, can flex and work within multiple functions and/or channels as needed.
  • Being organized motivates you. You can effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands.
  • You can maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment and handle confidential information with discretion and maturity.
  • You have experience creating and executing written and visual communications related to talent branding on various social platforms.
  • You're tech savvy and have a thorough understanding of applicant tracking systems and HR systems preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Demonstrated excellent communication skills to all audience levels
