POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Data Analyst, International Merchandise Operations will support NA apparel & accessory divisions seasonal buy process - from order intake & buy reconciliation to final SAP reporting. They will maintain accurate IM bookings files, and drive SAP processes specific to IM channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver in season support & visibility to IM:
    • Create IM specific assortment style banks
    • Curated line lists by division
    • FOB pricing & COO
    • Share Visulon boards
  • Create Order Intake Files (UBS), utilizing several tools to condense all critical data necessary to IM buy placement on 1 file. MDM/NACAAT/UBSMKR/DTS/ Entify/UBS/SAP
  • Aggregate seasonal IM orders via UBSMKR, troubleshoot as needed, & pass to Production Operations
  • IM Buy Pass Reconciliation:
    • Cross check which styles are main line tag on vs exclusive development
    • Review adopted size range to ensure alignment with mainline; Adjust with markets as necessary
    • Partner with IM to make necessary buy swaps before final buy pass
  • Maintain seasonal IM Exclusive style/colors files; Share with cross functional teams & drive process ownership throughout milestones (design, PD, PO, Merchants, Data Ops teams)
  • Build IM consolidated booking files; Cross check against internal reporting (SAP & PO trackers) to ensure accuracy of IM orders
  • Communicate IM exclusive product development to Data Ops team for seasonal commercialization
  • Point person to troubleshoot SAP errors post buy pass specific to IM orders; Define who/how to fix errors and drive cross functional discussion until error is resolved
  • Track communication of IM PO visibility to regional teams; Escalate as necessary if IM cannot receive data needed to make accurate buy decisions
  • Create & share IM specific milestone calendar
  • Assist with IM range planning; Aggregate regions into 1 top line summary to assess where exclusive product development is needed
  • Support IM Merchants to determine product offering, editing out product not relevant/approved for regional markets
  • Partner with IM to deliver Seasonal and Core projection planning; Distribute to internal supply teams to ensure IM volume is accounted for
  • Participate in relevant milestone meetings throughout seasonal calendar cycle

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-7 years of Data Management, Planning, Operations, Merchandising, or Buying experience
  • College Degree
  • Outstanding analytical ability: Must have a data driven approach to solving problems
  • Strong knowledge of Data Governance concepts and best practices
  • Ability to multi task in fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive
  • Highly organized
  • Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to successfully navigate in such an environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage adversity and challenging situations
  • Knowledge of international cultures & retail landscapes
  • Multiple languages a plus
  • Advanced computer skills - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe. Must learn internal systems, both current and future (SAP, MDM, PLM, 7th Online)
  • Highest personal and professional integrity and strong work ethic
  • Team player with flexible and adaptable approach to work, and a motivated self-starter
  • This role requires being a key decision maker for International Market product needs
  • Provide solutions and recommendations as business challenges arise
  • Continually evaluate methods/ procedures of Int'l buying and sales
  • Digitally savvy; explore internal & external digital tools beneficial to IM
  • Ability to find answers through alternate means when not provided directly
  • Highly collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
  • Working with multiple time zones (evening calls/email to catch APAC time zones)
  • Potential weekend work during market periods
