Job Details

As part of the Enterprise Architecture function, this leader oversees, grows and champions the Data Architecture practice and the Data Governance function. S/he will build a network and influence senior, cross-functional leaders to proactively resolve issues and deliver a consistently high level of service to our stakeholders. This leader will leverage program, organizational, and transformation experience as a catalyst for PVH teams to deliver business outcomes at global scale.

You are a "trusted advisor" to TPG and business leaders on data architecture and governance
  • Align business strategy to data domains, assess health and be the change agent for gaps
  • Act as an integrated member of TPG teams collaborating on the data strategy and roadmap
  • Establish synergistic partnership with the Enterprise Data & Analytics function
  • Drive architecture decisions with stakeholders with a b usiness-value and innovation mindset
  • Challenge the status quo while being realistic about the "art of the possible".


You create the structure and drive use of Data Governance across business and TPG stakeholders
  • Establish and ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices needed to leverage data as a strategic asset
  • Create and nurture a collaborative entity for the business and functional areas to achieve required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business needs
  • Respond to and incorporate regulatory requirements into the governance agenda


Architectural Leadership
  • Serve as a "trusted advisor" on data architecture and strategy for TPG and business leaders
  • Socialize the established strategy to all levels across the IT organization
  • Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader to drive data roadmaps for industry leading, end-to-end business solutions
  • Understand and set the strategic position of data, including ensuring the company has the required expertise, in-house or external, to support it
  • Drive architecture best practices and guiding principles out to the broader IT organization to deliver on enterprise architecture goals


Foundational Data Architecture Deliverables
  • EDA framework, glossary, taxonomy, data models, taxonomy and controlled vocabulary
  • Integrated data solution roadmaps to reduce complexity and drive competitive advantage
  • Reference architectures, enterprise flows across domains, and end-to-end data views
  • Program/project contextual and logical architecture deliverables to guide engineering
  • Develop enterprise data model, framework, and data governance partnership
  • Define process and syndication approach to map data entities across enterprise applications
  • Identify data value chain, reuse & rationalization across portfolio
  • Define and drive use of master data system of record roadmap
  • Drive the PVH data solutions landscape and recommend industry standards/best practices.
  • Establish future technology footprint by encouraging a culture of innovation with focus on simplicity, adaptability, scalability, reliability and security.


Data Governance
  • Establish data governance operating model across business and TPG stakeholders
  • Define roles, responsibilities across data domains to drive governance, policies and standards
  • Develop and drive Data Governance plan aligned with business priorities and pain points
  • Drive ownership and completion of Data Governance risks, issues, decisions, actions log
  • Partner with information security, risk and compliance teams to incorporate data classification and regulatory classification standards into data domains and entities


Qualifications & Experience

  • 8-15 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data architecture/ engineering, software development and delivery, with experience in building impactful data strategies and roadmaps across multiple solutions.
  • Expertise in the design and delivery of advanced analytics and business intelligence use cases and solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies, including SQL, cloud technologies (e.g. AWS/Azure), programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, SQL), data processing tools, visualization tools etc.
  • Understanding of functional capabilities and industry trends related to Data Platforms.
  • Ecommerce/retail background and experience working in Global/Regional enterprise models at scale is desirable.
  • Understanding of AI & ML techniques, use of large sets of data for analysis of trends and detection of anomalies is a plus.
  • Experience in the successful delivery & ongoing maintenance of complex, high volume, high performing & high-quality data software systems (including big data solutions)
  • Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of enterprise data architecture, integration, business capability planning, and best practices for connecting data solutions capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to balance long-term ("big-picture") and short-term implications of architecture decision.
  • Demonstrated business acumen & ability to stay ahead of & incorporate innovative new technologies.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and elicit data needs and information requirements in a dynamic environment
  • Experience solutioning across multiple infrastructure operating models from traditional (on premise), to Cloud-based models and hybrid variations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and Visio skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong facilitation skills to define end-to-end requirements and conduct detailed design reviews across multiple stakeholder constituencies.
