JOB SUMMARY

The Merchandise Coordinator Lead is a full-time position reporting to the Manager of Merchant Item Process. The Coordinator Lead is aligned with specific Merchandise Divisions to ensure inventory is sellable online. They provide ongoing coaching, identify and implement process improvements, and reinforce best practices to improve speed to web and drive results. This position acts in an oversight capacity without any direct reports but provides both recommendations and feedback to Manager and Buyer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with Merchants and Web Team.
  • Review on order and guide Merchandise Coordinators to ensure items are sellable online as soon as they are received and photographed.
  • Work with Merchandise Coordinators to prioritize advertised items and ensure they are sellable online prior to campaign launch.
  • Monitor inventory that is not online to ensure Merchandise Coordinators are resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide Merchandise Coordinators with coaching and best practices, both one on one and as a group.
  • Lead and create presentation materials for monthly all Coordinator best practice meetings.
  • Meet with Buying Offices that are not meeting Online Readiness goals to discuss opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead quarterly Division Online Readiness meetings and create presentation materials.
  • Participate in Cross Functional team meetings (Photo Studio Team, Web Team, etc)
  • Assist with new hire interviewing and training for Merchandise Coordinators.
  • Review current processes and identify opportunities to streamline procedures.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Prior Experience as an Online/Merchandise Coordinator or similar role a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail, service, or other fast paced environments.
  • Must be analytical, articulate, and organized.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must work confidently in teams.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Quick study on new computer systems and quickly understands and incorporates new system functionality.
  • Strong follow up and follow through to make sure all tasks are taken to full completion.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily.
