Contributing Beauty Editor
Citizen Femme is looking for someone creative, charismatic and ideas-driven to join the team managing beauty and wellbeing content, as well as engaging with brands for partnerships. It's an exciting role bringing your ideas and enthusiasm to shape this part of the magazine.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Have a clear understanding of the distinct voice, style and audience to which Citizen Femme speaks
Regularly contribute and manage editorial across beauty and wellbeing
Work with the team to develop a monthly content strategy defining weekly content needs and partnership goals
Identifying year-round engagement opportunities with leading brands in order to produce high-quality, compelling content
A proven track record in this sector with a brilliant black book of contacts is ESSENTIAL
A good understanding of social media and video content with a willingness to create content, bringing to life the visual aspect of Citizen Femme and the brands we work with
Understanding our message and audience and know which partners compliment our brand IS KEY. Knowing how to actively pitch new and exciting collaborations that will get them on board with fresh ideas and new strategies with which we can make a real impact is a vital part of the role.
You will need to represent Citizen Femme at relevant industry events.

Essential Skills & Requirements
Prior experience in publishing industry in beauty/lifestyle
An articulate and engaging writing style, with excellent attention to detail and grammar
Tastes in line with Citizen Femme
Commercial awareness; able to generate innovative and creative content solutions and approach marketing contacts for relevant partnership opportunities
Understanding of luxury market
A good knowledge of the Citizen Femme world and who’s who
A nose for news: an ideas generator, eager to uncover original stories and angles
A brilliant contacts book for stories and possible partnerships
Dedication, initiative and ambition for the brand is essential.
