QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

The Role:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who puts their heart into the quality of the customer's journey, has a solid technical background and is a champion in supporting Engineers in building well-tested features. You will be one of the first talents to join the newly created Engineering Team. You will report directly to our new Head of Engineering, keen on creating a kind and diverse team culture.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the business and project teams to establish the best approach to testing, ensuring it is appropriate for the level of change. 
• Ownership of QA processes and monitoring their use by internal and external teams.
• Co-creating and maintaining the automation suite running in the cloud.
• Building automated test scripts for core system journeys.
• Executing test scripts manually.

The Person:

• +3 years of experience in automated system testing.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Ease in debugging applications using webkit developer tools.
• Understanding of API specification, knowledge of REST and testing methodologies for testing remote services.
• Good collaboration and writing skills.
• Basic understanding of marketing operation including A/B tests, tagging and analytics.
