Arddun Agency are a London based Womenswear wholesale agency in Shoreditch, London specialising in the Luxury and Advanced Contemporary world. Founded in 2020 we have grown quickly and already have a proven track record of launching brands successfully internationally as well as being great partners to our brands and well regarded by our retail partners. We have big ambitions and aggressive growth plans and are looking for the right candidates to help us execute all we aim to achieve.

We are looking for a Wholesale Director to join the team and help us achieve our short-, medium- and long-term goals. This role will hold full P&L responsibility for the wholesale department, working with the other directors to build and implement a global strategy to ensure the long-term success and growth of Arddun Agency.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Wholesale Budgets

  • Create and build seasonal sales budgets & targets for all brands to be shared internally for sign off and with our brands
  • Provide frequent updates in market for how we are tracking to budget
  • Create a reorder budget tracker and in-season budget target to drive additional revenue
  • Provide detailed reports at the end of each season with focus on performance, budgets, collections and learnings

Sell through reports

  • Work towards a ST report weekly or monthly for each brand
  • Ensure we receive all ST reports from stores that can send them
  • Weekly meeting at a minimum to review ST reports and see where we need to action swaps, reorders etc

Brands

  • Ensuring frequent communication is happening with brands across the sales aspect of the business
  • Timely communication around shipping, payments, sales, logistics etc
  • Working closely with the Sales Managers on building relationships with brands and providing everything we need to provide
  • Work with internal merchandising teams to strategically identify opportunities for the growth of our brands across all areas of product 

Physical Showroom

  • Manage showroom process across booking showroom, fixtures, models, shipping, travel, hotels, assistants etc
  • Schedule appointments ensuring all existing are covered and trackers are in place
  • Ensure brands are across the showroom schedule and payments are made promptly
  • Ensure all samples arrive on time and logistics are highly monitored

Appointments

  • Be present and always conduct yourself in a professional manner as a representation of the Agency in as many appointments as possible with the sales managers driving the conversation and setting an example
  • Ensure the team are trained and can sell digitally and physically at a high standard to the company expected standards

Digital Showroom

  • Ensuring we receive all assets with enough time to upload to digital showroom
  • Ensuring digital showroom is always accurate across imagery, pricing, uploads, VM, linesheets and look books
  • Manage the digital showroom upload process to ensure the team are aware of timings, workload etc

Team Management

  • Directly manage the sales teams and be responsible for recruiting and building the team as needed 
  • Manage all personal admin of direct reports including holiday, sickness, reviews
  • Weekly catch ups with all direct reports and organise team catch ups
  • Team KPI’s – monitor and assess all KPI’s ensuring the team are being supported to achieve all set KPI’s
  • Nurture personal growth for all team members ensuring they are getting all training required to support company and personal objectives
  • Internal communication - ensure lines of communication are strong – internal catch up, meetings and key calendars are built out

Store Visits

  • Ensure we are visiting the UK stores frequently to support our brands but also to carry out market research
  • Consider international travel strategy to visit key stores and markets
  • Ensure store visits occur when travelling is taking place for market
  • Provide product training to all key stores both in person, digitally or via email, ensuring the brands provide these documents

Retailer PR & Marketing

  • Work with each key retailer to ensure our brands are represented in editorial where possible and we are providing as much support as needed
  • Pop ups - identify and target key pop-up opportunities and manage process from start to finish

This role requires direct experience within the international luxury and contemporary wholesale world, ideally within RTW. The candidate should have solid experience of managing a large team, be comfortable with reporting and have a proven track record of managing a fast-growing business.

This role will be based in our London office and require travel to our NYC and Paris showrooms up to four times per year.
