This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You are an excellent Archive Assistant with an interest in luxury fashion and a passion for archive. You are excited about overseeing day-to-day activities at the Secaucus Archive facility and working on organizing and preserving past season corporate product across all categories. You also like working in a team environment and a sense of humor is a plus!

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is...atypical. Your task might include fu lfill archive requests by staging inventory and preparing for shipments to the NY and NJ corporate offices, o rganizing Tory Burch Corporate product by category, year and season, en sure all corporate, vintage and personal items are tagged and in appropriate storage material, ru n outstanding weekly log to determine product that needs to be returned, photograph product with missing or incorrect photos, associate with styles and upload to Tory Track, and pa rticipate in ongoing archive maintenance including assessing objects' conditions, collections organization, hanger replacement, and object vacuuming as required. The consistent thread is that you'll be working with an amazing team of women and men who share your passion for excellence.

To Land This Role:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dress, Costume, Fashion History, Art History or Decorative Arts is a plus
  • Knowledge of or experience with digital and physical asset management is a plus
  • Experience in organizing, cataloging, and classifying garments and accessories
  • Able to identify different fabric, qualities, and silhouettes
  • Knowledge of archive best practices is a plus
  • Ability to perform standing physical activity for long periods
  • Strong computer skills
  • Highly organized and pays attention to details
  • Energetic, patient, self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously and collaborate across a wide spectrum of staff
