As Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing the digital marketing plan for Purple Brand. In this role you will conceptualize a 360 degree digital marketing calendar/strategy and fully execute against the plan. As we are a digitally driven business, this position will play a crucial role in achieving our business goals and objectives.  You will be responsible for upholding the brand identity & guidelines across all marketing channels & external brand communication. Performance will be measured based on growth in brand awareness, traffic driven to owned DTC website, and uplift in outlined marketing KPIs. We are seeking an experienced and collaborative team member that will be excited to attract and engage with the Purple Clientele as well as identify new market segments.

Marketing Accountabilities

  • Lead direct marketing acquisition, retention, and reactivation strategies and programs with the goal of driving revenue and cultivating long-term customer relationships, across all digital channels in North America
  • Oversee development and execution of Marketing Calendar including with goal of incremental performance
  • Implement learnings from ongoing test strategies designed to isolate campaign-driver effectiveness, unlock high impact wins, and maximize campaign, offer, messaging and creative performance while optimizing program ROI
  • Devise strategies to drive high value traffic to the website, increase web visibility and traffic Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns – executing integrated online strategy with wider company marketing plans
  • Develop & execute micro-segmented email marketing campaigns
  • Develop & execute digital campaigns Manage and measure the success of various marketing strategies
  • Participate in Paid Media Strategy & proffer opportunities & ideas
  • Conceptualize and manage  online brand and product campaigns, with the strategic focus to create brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention both on owned channels (website and email) and paid (sponsored content, influencers, blogs)
  • Championing the needs of the Purple Client,  work closely with the greater team to drive aggressive growth online
  • Plan strategy and create presentations for Senior Management, contributing to workshops/planning sessions as needed

Financial & Scheduling Accountabilities

  • Maintain accountability for business and financial results from marketing programs as assigned
  • Present campaign & marketing budgets by project
  • Review and enhance current reporting standards ensuring key business metrics are captured and reported on regularly
  • Consistently report on analytics and campaign ROI and make recommendations to successfully evolve  future campaigns
  • Measure and report on digital acquisition, customer metrics, campaign performance
  • Discover and present Leadership Team  with new  marketing tools & technology

Skills and Attributes

  • History of developing in depth Marketing Plans & Strategy
  • A broad digital background with experience of online retail optimisation, Google Analytic and martech
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Proven ability to work within timeframes with minimum supervision
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Excellent data and analytics skills.
  • Experience in data-led decision making; have an ability to interpret extensive data and identify the opportunities for growth.
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Proactive in nature, thrives under pressure and is enthusiastic team player with positive attitude
  • Ability to work with a number of teams across multiple countries, time-zones and backgrounds.
  • A genuine interest in and knowledge in Men’s Fashion

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant degree in Marketing, Commerce or Digital is preferable
  • Experienced and strong passion for digital technologies and utilizing different digital marketing channels
  • At least 3+ years marketing experience for a brand with owned digital presence
  • Extensive knowledge in Email marketing, content creation, SEO, SEM and Social Media Marketing
  • Proven track record of campaign success
