This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You have a passion for developing industry leading eLearning, video and digital content based on existing training programs as well as developing new content and training programs as needed. You have strong corporate instructional design experience and a passion for luxury fashion. You're also resourceful and collaborative with excellent communication skills, strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is... atypical. You might be collaborating with the various members of the training team to develop engaging, dynamic and interactive eLearning and digital content to be delivered via our Tory U Learning Management system including narration, animations, virtual reality, games, role plays, knowledge assessments, etc. to deliver impactful and instructionally sound adult learning experiences. You might also be creating storyboards, scripts and managing all aspects of video pre and post-production as well as designing and developing SCORM based learning content with various authoring tools. You might also be overseeing the training technology and focusing on impact measurement and ROI as well as diving into other exciting projects and opportunities as they arise. To Land This Role:
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education Technology or other related field
  • 7+ years of strong corporate instructional design experience creating engaging digital learning programs, ideally within the fashion, luxury or retail industries
  • Proficient in:
    • eLearning content authoring tools including Articulate and Captivate;
    • Video and audio editing software;
    • Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator, and
    • MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Strong graphic design skills and a contemporary design aesthetic
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and training design models as well as familiarity with learning management systems (Docebo LMS is a plus)
