Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Admissions Operations Manager, the Admissions Office Assistant plays an integral role in the Admissions Office's mission to make the student application experience seamless, timely, transparent, and accurate. They will provide student-centered assistance with incoming document processing, loading credentials into our imaging system, assuring data quality and other time-sensitive tasks. Additionally the office assistant provides excellent customer-service in responding to applicant inquiries and other requests by the college community, providing timely follow up, trouble-shooting and problem-solving.

Essential Functions:
  • Printing letters for decisions and other communications.
  • Processing of incoming portfolios using Slideroom.
  • Liaise with academic departments regarding Slideroom assignments and reviews.
  • Document and update processes related to Slideroom.
  • Assist with guiding applicants and potential students by phone, email, and in person with portfolio and admissions related information
  • Daily retrieval and upload of electronic essay submissions.
  • Assist with using Hobsons Connect to view, create, and/or maintain communications to prospective and current applicants.
  • Receive, review, process, and monitor receipt of high school and college documentation.
  • Process paid tuition deposits and candidate replies in Banner.
  • Runs audit reports to ensure data integrity and makes updates to records appropriately. Escalates any data discrepancies to the appropriate staff or manager.
  • Run various dataloads as needed.
  • Handle individual requests from the counseling and operations team as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree required.
  • 2- 4 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Computer skills with an emphasis on data entry.
  • Quality customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a college or university setting.
  • Experience using NOLIJ, Hobson Connect (Anthology) CRM, and Argos software systems.
  • Experience using Banner or other college related software.

The position is on campus, primarily in an office environment.

Additional Information:

Days/Hours: M-F, 9am-5pm, in person; work schedule subject to change based on needs of the department.
Salary Schedule 90
Hiring Salary: $51,018 per year
