Key Responsibilities:
  • Create seasonal merchandising plans and follow through execution
  • Develop and execute strategies utilizing knowledge based on analysis of business and competitive set
  • Brings customer and market prospective to the design and product development process. Thoroughly understands the brand's target customer by tracking attitude and lifestyle trends.
  • Acts as expert on competition and industry trends; ability to translate into innovative, relevant, fashion-forward product
  • Develop strong internal relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Drive the selling campaign reports and the end of season analysis by managing seasonal projections and analysing global bookings, reporting out on conclusions and key merchandising KPI
  • Highlight future opportunities and needs


The Ideal Candidate:
  • Min 4-5 years experience in merchandising/buying with part of that in the Women Apparel Business
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage areas of responsibility independently
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data for the Director in order to identify and address potential business performance issues
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • High numerical and analytical strengths
  • Fluent in English - additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent organizational and negotiating skills are necessary
  • Hard-worker, proactive, hands-on mentality, flexible, multitasking, solution oriented, ability to prioritize
