The Central Planning and Buying team is responsible for the selection, range building and product strategy for the Region North (UK, Ireland, Netherlands and the Nordics). In a constantly changing retail environment, we strive to build the best assortment for each of our retail, wholesale and concession partners based upon customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.

Working closely with all key retail and store teams (Merchandising, Wholesale, Retail Operations and Visual Merchandising), collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team.

Reporting into the Planner the Assistant Planner NOS plays a key role in supporting the team to deliver the range strategy for a number of divisions for one of our brands across the Region North.

Focusing on our NOS (Never Out of Stock) ranges they will work closely with the wider Buying and Planning teams to ensure a cohesive strategy across multiple sales channels and countries across Region North (UK, Ireland, Netherlands and the Nordics).

They will be pivotal in creating and interpreting analysis to back-up the range plan strategy and will work with Retail and Wholesale partners to optimise cross channel trading.

Responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to departmental Merchandising planning strategy, with the customer and brand in mind

  • Prepare analysis packs as necessary and pull together strategy recommendations under the guidance of the Planner

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across both Region North and Amsterdam head office teams

  • Support in the running and analysis of weekly/monthly and seasonal trade reports

  • Manage monthly forecast submission ensuring key deadlines are hit for both Retail and Wholesale central functions

  • Own line card forecasts across channels and region, incorporating Retailer feedback and strategic changes to improve forecast accuracy

  • Optimise range performance through micro-range analysis and reporting, working with the trading teams

  • Build relationships with Key Account Managers and Retail counterparts to drive trade and improve future forecasting

  • Own Regional master product data and accurate management of NOS (Never Out of Stock) line ranging

  • Manager end to end product lifecycle management of NOS styles

  • Work with Wholesale teams to support in-season trading across a number of partners

  • Work within the core systems SAP BW/ HANA, Excel, A3 planning system

  • Support selling teams function with production of Retail and Wholesale support assets

  • Work closely with Retail teams to ensure range alignment and productivity growth

  • Implement new systems and processes to continually improve Planning best practice

About YOU
  • You have previous experience at Assistant Merchandiser level (or equivalent) within a fashion/retail business
  • You have advanced Excel skills and excellent planning and analytical skills
  • You Connect to Consumers and Make Informed Decisions together to deliver customer-centric solutions and achieve great results
  • You have experience working in a faced paced environment and can Adapt Fast to the business needs and priorities
