About the Role

The role of the Seasonal Employment Coordinator in a Gap Inc. distribution or contact center environment places you on the front line of the high-volume recruiting environment with focus on sourcing, recruiting, screening and interviewing candidates to support Gap Inc Global Supply Chain peak hiring needs. The Seasonal Employment Coordinator may also be responsible for creation and maintenance of employee files, logs, and reports ensuring compliance to federal, local andcompany laws/standards.

As a Seasonal Employment Coordinator you will utilize your strong customer facing skills to assist candidates through the hiring process by extreme focus on urgency, accuracy, and thorough communication utilizing multiple systems to meet hiring goals. The Seasonal Employment Coordinator will track candidates providing timely analytics to assist in strategic decisions to meet and exceed Recruitment and onboarding KPI's. Your passion for service will drive your performance to ensure Gap Inc. Global Supply Chain achieves production goals through the hiring of quality high performing candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate through phone, email, text and in-person potential applicants providing information about open positions, shifts, departments and duties utilizing hiring programs to "mine" for potential candidates and applicants
  • Ensure the candidate has a positive application/interview experience by utilizing your great customer facing skills including but not limited to; Urgency, Honesty, Confidentiality and Accuracy
  • Facilitate screenings and interviews (individual, group, job fairs) providing feedback to hiring managers to assist in decision making through a timebound accountability of standards, assessing, planning and driving results across multiple departments and shifts
  • Accurate data entry into applicant tracking systems, HRIS databases, background check and I9 systems; maintenance and creation of paper and electronic files
  • Ensure a superior customer experience that fully supports the brand image and service level agreements that includes but is not limited to recruitment, records, new employee orientation and more
  • Identify opportunities to improve practices, mitigate risk, optimize technology and present recommendations to supervisor
  • Ensure effective communications; up, down and across the business, while maintaining confidentiality
  • Assist with: New Employee Orientation, Employment Eligibility, Safety Training and more; documentation, reports, spreadsheets, preparation, and other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • 1-2years of Contact Center, Operations, or Human Resources experience
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • 1 year of high-volume recruiting experience preferred
  • Taleo, Peoplesoft, Kronos, Workday system experience preferred
  • Distribution/Call Center environment experience preferred
  • PC skills: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access and/or other software/database skills
