The Senior Director, ESG Communications, will develop the communications strategy and lead execution of all corporate communications related to sustainable business (CR), inclusion and diversity (I&D) and The PVH Foundation. To support the successful execution of this strategy, this role will dual report to the Head of Corporate Communications, with full support of the corporate communications team and channel experts, and the Chief Sustainability Officer, with full access to CR global priorities and plans.

This role requires demonstrated experience of developing communications strategies and execution that effectively engages with key internal and external stakeholders, program design, implementation and management, and strong working knowledge of sustainability and social purpose issues, DEI issues and industry Corporate Responsibility (CR)/Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) standards and expectations.

The Senior Director, ESG Communications will work closely with the Head of Corporate Communications, Chief Sustainability Officer, Chief Diversity Officer, the Head of the PVH Foundation, and their respective teams, as well as a wide range of leaders across PVH brands and regions, building cross-functional relationships to deliver thoughtful, quality content and engagement plans in support of high-profile projects, within tight timeframes.


  • Develop and lead execution of the communications strategies to support global PVH CR, I&D and Foundation in partnership with these teams, leveraging the expertise of the Corporate Communications function

  • Work closely with Corporate Communications team on media and social media strategy and engagement, issues management and corporate positioning with a focus on purpose-led communications

  • Oversee and advise on all media and public facing interactions for PVH CR, I&D and Foundation, including crisis management, escalation messaging and response across all content areas and geographies

  • Refine and promote PVH purpose strategic narrative and positioning

  • Enhance PVH leadership platform around Sustainable Business, communications and positioning

  • Oversee the development and execution of PVH annual CR report, including all stakeholder engagement

  • Partner with the Corporate, Brand, and Regional Associate Communications teams to develop and execute expanded Sustainable Business, I&D and Foundation associate engagement and programs

  • Lead a cross-functional team to promote PVH CR and I&D learning & training programs

  • Establish associate feedback loops on Sustainable Business, I&D and Foundation


Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

Education: Bachelor's degree required


  • Media and issues response experience

  • Excellent written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills

  • Detail-oriented, including project management, time management and follow-through

  • Experienced in managing a team

  • Adept at bringing people together, including across regions and time-zones, to design and deliver purpose-led communications and programming that create conversation, drive education and deliver meaningful change

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional projects with adherence to deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners, specifically cross-functional collaboration

  • Ability to work well under pressure, anticipate needs and challenges, and respond to changing demands

  • Deep knowledge of CR/sustainability, I&D (DEI) and Foundation issues, preferably in the apparel sector

  • Passionate about corporate responsibility and social purpose topics

  • Proficient in using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Attitude: positive, team player, proactive, strong work ethic and flexible
