The Sr. Manager Store Technology, is responsible for building, developing and managing the Asia regional store technology team. The span of responsibility is regional and supports the teams and applications across all the markets in Asia. This could include but not limited to in-store technology, point-of-sale (POS) enabling capabilities, etc. The incumbent owns the POS platform, including but not limited to, new rollout deployment, application development, support approach & operations, platform health, change request management, build/upgrade management. The candidate will be required to lead complex initiatives/projects in collaboration with various internal stakeholders & vendors; ensuring successful implementation through solid management of the SDLC; following PVH TPG internal project management practices. The ability to understand the retail business operational requirements, and proposing a suitable technical solution is important. Also, ensuring that the solution is consistent with PVH internal audit and compliance guidelines.

The individual in this role will be the direct liaison to Retail Operations business, process and technology partners across PVH brands, helping to analyze, craft, and prioritize solutions to our consumer's most impactful problems. This role will partner with other Product Managers, engineering teams as well as external partners to drive end-to-end execution enabling and measuring business value.


Build lasting Partnership
  • Partner with the global TPG technology teams to adopt best practices, align technologies with business use cases and coordinate cross-functional plans and activities
  • Partner with the respective business counterparts in the development of the short & long term, strategic systems plan, including justification, management & execution of supporting initiatives.
  • Monitor vendor partner compliance to PVH IT policies

Requirements & Product Roadmaps
  • Understand and enhance PVH Store Technology strategies
  • Oversee the translation of functional requirements into technical specifications and system integration diagrams
  • Coordinate new capability and feature prioritization with business owners and product managers
  • Craft and deliver presentations on new capabilities and enhancements to assigned platforms
  • Review and provide feedback to test lead on test scripts/scenarios
  • Actively collaborate with teams to validate solution(s)
  • Research changes within Consumer behaviors and industry to bring fresh and applicable ideas to the larger team.
  • Stay current with modern platforms, toolkits & methods
  • Evolve and support the technology standards that align with PVH IT policies.
  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, including regulatory & privacy driven changes to respective countries, as well as monitor compliance.

Technical Expertise
  • Act as a technical expert on Store Technology related systems
  • Design & engineer the application infrastructure to be reliable, efficient, and maintainable as aligned to PVH standards.
  • Develop integration solutions including enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features.
  • Ensure compliance with development guidelines and standards utilized in software development/ integration.
  • Manage the process for documenting changes to architecture, integration plans, and conversion plans.
  • Brainstorm possible solutions, evaluating alternatives against decision criteria.
  • Lead and/or consult in project planning sessions with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements and designing systems.
  • Ensure systems architecture and integration maps are kept relevant and optimized
  • Work closely with technology architects to assure that systems are in line with IT technical strategy.
  • Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT technical strategy.
  • Define and measure key operational metrics including site performance, incidents, recurring issues and identifying root cause.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of applications.
  • Serve as escalation point for issues of varying complexity
  • Provide primary support for Oracle Xstore, traffic counters and other 3rd party POS systems across Asian markets. Manage Level 3/4 Support tickets.
  • Collaborate and participate in discussions with Infrastructure & Platform to ensure that the environment and application are operating in optimal fashion.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of applications (upgrades, patches/hot fixes)
  • Ensure that team is adhering to strict compliance of SOX controls
  • Responsible for annual audit procedures on POS

Project Implementation
  • Partner with project leads and project teams to ensure successful delivery of project based on agreed upon scope, time and budget.
  • Provide input on SOW & contracts
  • Advise on system options, risks, cost versus benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals
  • Ensure due diligence on review on detailed Functional Specification Document and Technical Specification Document to deliver business requirement.
  • Ensure that all approvals are obtained before starting any consultancy or development work.
  • Govern and oversee deliverables from internal resources and/or external vendor:

Vendor engagement
  • Manage the Store Technology efforts around security and audit compliance
  • Partner with the business leads, TPG and external partners on planned releases, operation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all the store technology applications
  • Ensure continuous improvement is embedded into daily operations and derive metrics to show case continuous improvement in process, configuration changes, deployments etc.
  • Partner with business and vendors to research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Lead deployment plan reviews, engineering code reviews, application architecture reviews etc.
Other responsibilities as assigned by manager or TPG leadership.

The position is based out of our Hong Kong office, with periodic travel to our other PVH locations as required.


  • Oversee the activities of the Asia Store Technology team including setting of quarterly priorities, development plans, career pathing and training.
  • Ensure the team is clear on their priorities and deliverables and provide guidance to the team within the realm of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare and recommend department personnel performance appraisals.
  • Attract and retain talent for the PVH Technology & Process Group
  • Develop strategic models for associate on-boarding, associate training, upskilling and development.
  • Develop strategic models that build high performing, resilient, multi-skilled teams. Conduct market research and optimize associate retention and turnover.
  • Cross functional & project teams based on areas of focus and deliverables

  • Prepare & track budgets and related financial documents, and manage financial accounting on new projects to be undertaken.
  • Monitor the use of outside contractors daily, as well as prepare forecasts of future utilization for on-time project completion.
  • Prepare the short and long-range department expense & capital budgets.
  • Assist in the determination of the most cost-effective application solutions for the company and administering the budget for same.
  • Analyze vendor proposals and maintaining current knowledge of overall application vendor capabilities, as needed.
  • Estimate resources requirements and the cost of maintaining applications to insure business requirements are met.
