This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You are an experienced real estate leader looking to build a growing real estate portfolio on a global scale. You are tapped into the retail real estate market and have a strong vision for developing strategy. You are an expert at negotiating leases and have strong relationships with landlords. You are collaborative, strategic, and results driven.

A Day in the Life:

A day in the life is...atypical. You might be developing a strategy with our Finance & Retail teams, selecting a site location, negotiating a deal, all while overseeing lease administration, broker, and landlord relationships.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Strategy:
  • Develop the expansion and portfolio optimization strategy for the global retail portfolio
  • Analyze sales performance, demographic/census data, peer sales data, and market rents, to generate sales forecasting, market planning, and deal benchmarking recommendations

Site Selection:
  • Collaborate with the retail, finance, store construction & design and executive leadership teams to review and approve site locations
  • Canvass markets and potential locations with landlords and internal team members
  • Create market and location overviews/analysis for site visits
  • Manage processes associated with forecasting and tracking deals for all potential sites
  • Manage the day-to-day pipeline activity, including monitoring and reporting on deal progress, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders for required inputs

Deal Making:
  • Lead the negotiations of LOIs, leases and all other transactions for the global portfolio in collaboration with in-house and outside counsel.

Real Estate Committee:
  • Manage and present all real estate projects to the global real estate committees

Internal/External Collaboration:
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with FP&A, retail, legal, store design & construction and marketing
  • Oversee broker and consultant relationships
  • Manage all landlord relations for North America and support global teams

Lease Administration Oversight:
  • Manage all lease administration duties including but not limited to monitoring all key lease actions


To Land This Role:
  • A Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing 200+ leases.
  • Must be willing and able to travel a minimum of 30% of the time.
  • 15+ years of experience in corporate or commercial real estate.
  • Experience in covering multiple states and regions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in real estate database software.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
  • Understanding complex leases/corresponding legal terms
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, highly organized, detailed oriented
