Job Title: Manager, Asia Omni, eCommerce, IT

Location: Shanghai

Report to: Senior Manager, Omni Solution IT

Primary Purpose: The Manager, Asia Omni-Channel eCommerce, IT is responsible for supporting Senior manager to manage eCommerce/Digital project tasks, subject areas, and global cross-functional projects. Take the technical ownership and solution advisor to advise how business could leverage eCommerce and its ecosystems, local digital solutions​ to accomplish cross-functional challenges.

  • Business analysis and project/solution delivery
    • Managing and delivering mid-scale eCommerce projects or sub elements of larger-scale projects on a local or global level across the brands, identify the appropriate technical solutions to support sustainability and growth with balance of local demands and regional scalability
    • Partner with Asia Omni-channel IT business partner teams to under business initiatives, work with business partners & digital team to understand business requests, document and translate the business requirements into system solutions
    • Analyze, design, testing and hands-on maintenance & support for Omni solutions including but not limit to: E-Commerce and marketing sites, Wechat Mini Prgm, CMS, OMS, PIM/DAM, Data tracking tools and integration with its associated systems including Retail systems, CRM/CDP, Clienteling systems, ERP(SAP), WMS, Payment gateway, Analytics, Social Media, DW/BI, etc.
    • Ensures deliverables such as Project Charter, Business Requirement, Functional / Technical design, configuring systems, providing guidance to developers, system testing, coordinating user testing, preparation of training / user manuals, deployment and post-implementation support
    • Track and analyze the project results, provide valuable insights of enhancements.
  • Business and technical expert
    • Take the technical solution ownership from the eCommerce perspective.
    • Be the technical expert to various aspects of the project, to key inhouse systems (Magento, OMS, SAP etc.), to major digital ecosystems (Tencent WeChat, Alibaba Tmall, Tiktok etc.)
    • With Strong knowledge of the eCommerce content management, CMS and UIUX, can provide insightful ideas to improve customer online journey and user experience optimization.
    • With strong knowledge and skills in middle-back-end system and applications, be the interlocutor with internal IT team and external partners, technical suppliers, etc.
    • Understand business specifications, pain points, and field flows, and provide full project support to the internal collaborators and cross departments


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years Information Technical related working experience in well-known international company of Retail/FMCG industry, eCommerce with brand.com/WeStore experience is a must. (0 to 1 build-up experience would be a big plus) Good knowledge of underlying processes and applications e.g. OMS, WMS, CRM/CDP, Omnichannel etc.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of E-Commerce related systems Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred (contents management system, order management system, payment gateway system and warehouse management system, etc.) to support marketing activities such as promotion, campaign, sales events, etc.
  • Experience in deploying Web Analysis tool (e.g. Adobe/SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, generic behavior data tracking tools etc.) and its configuration are plus
  • Experience in delivering E-Commerce across multiple digital channels (web, mobile, portal, tablet and 3rd party E-Commerce platforms)
  • Experience and knowledge with HTML5, web services integration and server-end application technologies (Javascript, PHP, CSS, SQL, Java, .Net, etc.) UX/UI design skill is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Solid project management experience especially in customer engagement and omni sales area, Agile project management experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in English and Mandarin
  • Innovative, multi-tasking with good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Experiences in partnering with business clients, vendors and across functional IT teams to design and implement systems solutions
  • Adaptable and flexible person who has strong sense of responsibility with ability to manage one's own time effectively and to prioritize wide range of simultaneous tasks
  • Stay with the digital trends, desire and passion to learn new technologies and keep abreast of latest advances and trends in digital technologies
