Joining the Data & Analytics group at Tapestry means that you are going to be a part of an incredibly talented and committed team that is focused on applying cutting-edge technology and data science solutions to transform and innovate the retail and fashion world.
You will work hand in hand with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Designers, and Software Engineers on end-to-end capabilities with a clear and sizable impact on the company economics.
The Analytics group at Tapestry is the center of excellence for data science and deep learning. Through the application of machine learning algorithms and intuitive interfaces and APIs, Analytics is transforming the way Tapestry employees make decisions and interact with our customers globally.

A successful candidate in this role will leverage their experiences to:

• Work collaboratively with design, product management, and leadership to deliver the product roadmap

• Contribute to software engineering best practices globally across the organization

• Plan and implement the full stack architecture of web-based applications

• Perform code reviews • Manage junior developers

Qualified candidates will have:

• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience with proven track record of product delivery

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field

• Experience with JavaScript (required) / TypeScript (bonus) / Python (bonus)

• Experience with React (required) / other frontend frameworks (bonus)

• Experience with REST APIs (required) / GraphQL APIs (bonus)

• Experience working with containerized environments

• Experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

• Basic understanding of Agile methods and modern software development lifecycle

Other preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with micro-service/micro-frontend architectures

• Experience building realtime, collaborative applications

• Experience working with remote development teams

• Basic understanding of Serverless applications

• Interest in and/or experience with data science and machine learning applications

• Interest in and/or experience with data visualization

• Experience in writing unit tests

• Experience in working with Node.js
