Job Title: Procurement Manager, Global Environments

Primary Purpose: Support non-merchandise cost savings initiatives considering the Total Cost of Ownership across Tapestry Brands and develop procurement-specific programs as a liaison between Strategic Procurement and the Business / Function for Architecture & Store Construction (Construction Materials, Store Fixtures, Store Furniture, VM Tools, Architecture & Construction Services) by effectively executing the proceeding responsibilities. Tapestry is undertaking a strategic, transformational journey to improve non-merchandise procurement capabilities while reducing risks and improving its overall cost structure. The Procurement function will encompass category management, strategic and tactical sourcing, a procurement center-of-excellence and procurement operations, all enabled and supported by an integrated set of policies, procedures and leading spend management system

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Store Development to...

  • Partner with cross functional teams to understand business requests, document and translate the business requirements into system solutions
  • Understand the functional business; helping to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost containment/avoidance or revenue generation
  • Proactively find opportunities to improve operation processes
  • Research market trends and leading practices to discover and execute cost savings initiatives
  • Manage sourcing, RFI's and RFP projects by preparing, issuing and evaluating analysis. Engage vendor in negotiations and prepare final price list to business
  • Prepare business cases to quantify savings and/or benefits of initiatives
  • Project planning including timelines, deliverables and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders supported to identify and execute value generating opportunities
  • Contract management from vendor engagement to final execution
  • Partner with regional and local Procurement


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience preferred; prior procurement sourcing or consulting preferred
  • Demonstrated success of leading project teams to achieve quantifiable savings 
  • Highly self motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimal supervision
  • Experience working under multi-brands are desired
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in English and Chinese (Japanese and Korean are plus)
  • Adaptable and flexible person who has strong sense of responsibility with ability to manage one's own time effectively and to prioritize wide range of simultaneous tasks
  • Committed, innovative and positive thinker on getting things done
  • Must be energetic and detailed oriented person with high standards of quality
