Primary Purpose: To support financial forecasting for Coach Korea topline sales and gross margin as well as regional financial reporting and analysis for Coach Japan and the whole Coach Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting, Analysis and Planning of Coach Asia ("CA") Business
    • Support in periodic regional consolidated reporting (monthly / quarterly / annually) of Coach Asia
    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting relevant to the covered markets / brands to support management decision making / fulfil request from business partners
    • Manage creation of bottom-up sales plans/forecast for Retail and Outlet channels (especially for Coach Korea)
    • Support development of company-wide annual forecast and Long Range Plan
    • Actively collaborate with Retail Field, Merchandising and Marketing partners to ensure sales forecast are thorough and aligned with Coach's overall direction/objectives
    • Make recommendations on improving efficiency on the reporting and planning process

  • Tracking and Communication of Coach Asia Sales Performance
  • Synthesize and explain daily/weekly performance and variances against plans/targets past results for regular review by leadership teams, focusing on sales and key metrics such as; traffic, conversion, average transaction value, etc
  • Track and highlight key risks/opportunities to working and official financial sales plans, enabling management to make optimal decisions for overall CA business
  • Share and communicate plans and variances to key business partners to ensure appropriate product planning/buying and expense planning

  • Supporting Sales Driving Analysis / Operations
    • Support team managers to propose any sales driving promotions to the business partners
    • Collaborate with internal partners to support other special projects as necessary
    • Lead system related issues projects/initiatives

Education/Qualifications [preferred]:
  • 2+ years of Corporate Finance, FP&A or consulting, or relevant experience in financial institutions
  • University degree in Finance, Economics

  • Excellent communication ability
  • Business level Japanese with advanced level of English (spoken/written) is a must
  • Proven analytical and logical/critical thinking
  • MS Excel - Advanced
  • MS PowerPoint - Advanced

  • Energetic/self-starter - takes initiative in seeing opportunities and getting things done
  • Naturally inquisitive - exhibits high intellectual curiosity and desire to come up with answers
  • Collaborative - enjoys communicating and working with others
