The Senior Manager, Digital Platform and Business Product co-defines and creates and leads the execution of Tapestry's group digital strategy in China on internal systems that will fully integrate and support our Digital omni-channel strategy to grow our business tremendously. The systems may include but not limited to Middle Platform, Product Information Management, Content Management, Digital Asset Management, and wholesale management, etc. S/he also play s digital system architect role to design and integrate digital systems.

This individual is a customer-centricDigital Product owner to play a critical role on the group level digital product team in China. S/he will be instrumental in landing the roadmap, selecting the best TP, playing digital system architecture and driving the execution of system integration strategy as well as new product features that will help build the best in class digital systems to increase operational efficiency and meet our company's target KPIs. This role is expected to maintain a cohesive vision with a strong customer-focus, stay informed about competitive trends, and leverage digital best practices.

S/he will be responsible for working with stakeholders and partners to deliver the right products to support the company's commercial and experiential objectives within China's distinct digital ecosystem. S/he will have deep expertise in designing digital omni-solutions through insights and data led hypotheses, develop and iterate solutions through best practices, design and integrate system architecture, design thinking and lean experimentation.

Key China market responsibilities will include the following:
  • Develop enterprise-level digital solutions & their architecture
  • Make digital architecture guideline based on global/China architecture guidelines. Make specific architecture guidelines for different type of digital systems.
  • Develop enterprise-level digital architecture and solutions, including but not limited to China Omni Channel, Middle Platform, PIM, CMS, DAM and wholesale etc.
  • Work with business stakeholders to develop enterprise-level digital solutions & design architecture based on business requirements.
  • Align with China digital road map, solutions & architecture while keeping the max level of synergy with China digital eco-system.
  • Support achievement of commercial targets and results by implementing the digital solution systems - working closely with brand operations team, IT team and TPs
  • Assist in delivering an evolving, best in class, Omni experience
    • In support of delivering the backend digital capabilities of our enterprise Omni strategy
  • Contribute to the cross-functional teams with technical expertise knowledge and insights.
    • Being digital technology expertise to provide architecture service to other functions.
    • Being a reliable consultant for digital solutions & architecture.
    • Make sure that new solution & architecture fits in our overall architecture.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to support digital projects as well as POCs
    • Strictly follow architecture guidelines in strategic projects, and work with vendor/IT architect to consolidate the design of architecture.
    • Collaborate software engineer for technical proof of concept for key part of the solution architecture.
    • Lead software engineer to review & sign off solution implementation as per solution architecture design.
    • Extract common services from strategic projects to build PaaS capabilities.
    • Lead software engineer to prove global proposed solutions in China and APEC, provide region adoption solutions if needed.
  • Digital Solutions & architecture review & signoff.
    • Review & sign off the solution architecture for digital projects.
    • Review & sign off the architecture change.
  • Communication
    • Comfortable talking about technical things with business. Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.
    • Keep good relationship with vendors, leverage their capability to maximize the quality of our architecture.
  • Develop and evolve best in class partnerships and capabilities with key China digital ecosystem partners
    • Proactively manage relationships in support of our portfolio of brands
    • Strategic, joint roadmap development to ensure the company participates in alpha/beta pilot activities and has well-formed solutions in advance of general availability releases
    • Develops best in class integrations and automations with key partners to support speed to solution and team scalability/efficiency


The accomplished individual will possess :
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of digital experience preferable in a retail environment
  • Possess strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills-a compelling, impactful storyteller
  • Analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize, and communicate complex or technical concepts.
  • Experience working in scrum/agile management methodologies a plus
  • Experience with store digital solution, Wechat works, omni channel
  • Experience with enterprise middle Platform
  • Resourceful, ability to understand that constraints breed creativity, and you thrive in an environment that includes limited resources.
  • Collaborative and a passion for digital products - not just the way they work but how they feel to the end user
  • Have a point of view and be an active listener
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and technologies
