Senior Solutions Architect - Digital @ Tapestry

The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for driving solution architecture of Tapestry's Global Digital Commerce and Marketing Platforms. This individual will provide architecture expertise in building global solutions across multiple digital channels including mobile, web and apps. This architect will be an expert in digital technology and will be responsible for providing solutions that are optimized for scale, growth and high performance. The architect demonstrates technical expertise, strong communication skills, and leadership in a consultative role to product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, design, scope, and document integration effort for new products, and technologies
  • Diagnose complex technical and business problems and provide creative solutions
  • Develop technical implementation plans and timelines with key engineering stakeholders and enterprise standards
  • Identify and enforce overall architectural principles, framework and standards
  • Enforce and guide a Solution Review process to ensure all solutions are thoroughly vetted
  • Partner with multiple teams to create prototypes and proof of concepts
  • Create and maintain architecture artifacts - business, integration and infrastructure architecture diagrams
  • Conduct feasibility assessment and impact analysis to support strategic and tactical business needs
  • Conduct evaluation of 3rd party solutions relative to business requirements and processes and guide formulation of solution recommendations
  • Proactively identify systems / tools that needs a technology refresh and create the future state point of view
  • Establish non-functional requirements across platforms and ensure the overall architecture is scalable, performs well and supportable

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
  • Experience working on E-commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Oracle ATG, Magento, Websphere Commerce etc.
  • Experience in headless architecture, progressive web apps as well as API Orchestration with an overarching focus on performance optimization
  • Experience in implementation and integration of various solutions such as Product Information Management (PIM), Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), A/B Testing Solutions etc.
  • Deep understanding of Content Delivery Networks, Network traffic routing and Service Workers
  • Strong understanding of Microservices, APIs
  • Knowledge of Sales Force Marketing Cloud and Sales Force Service Cloud is a plus
  • Knowledge of IT security and regulatory compliance (PCI, PII, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability architecting multi-tenant systems and platforms with a focus on building reference applications, across a variety of platforms
  • Prior development experience in Javascript - node.js, React, Angular.js along with, PHP, Java, SQL

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of Digital solution architecture experience in Retail or Consumer web environment
  • Experience working on eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Oracle ATG, Magento, Websphere Commerce, etc. as well as headless architecture, progressive web experience as well as API Orchestration
  • Knowledge of Sales Force Marketing Cloud and Sales Force Service Cloud is a plus
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce ecosystems and processes that include end-to-end data flows and processing from order management, fulfillment, payment gateways, customer service, and other back-end systems
  • Experienced in working across global teams and adapting the architecture to meet regional technology needs.
  • Communicateeffectivelyto IT management as well as business area experts with skills such as empathetic and active listening, and clearly and patiently articulate solutions.
