This role will be focused primarily on developing and executing strategies to drive online sales, conversion, engagement, and digital product ROI. The ideal candidate will have an eCommerce background and the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced, fast-growing business environment.

Responsibilities:

    • Conversion Rate Optimization: Improve website conversion rate through funnel analysis, analyzing new/returning consumer flows, developing on-site personalization, reducing bounce rate and testing content.
    • Site Roadmap: Support development and management of site roadmap with technical team. Make data-driven decisions and derive insightful UX enhancement hypothesis that will optimize shopping experience and drive conversion + engagement.
    • Site Updates: Manage site content updates, promotions set up, and site merchandising improvements.
    • Sales Planning: Support eCommerce sales forecasting and proactively plan and optimize programming to achieve goals.
    • Customer Experience: Apply UX testing plan to improve customer experience, working closely with the cross-functional teams to execute.
    • SEO: Employ ongoing optimization in-line with keyword strategy and provide reporting on ranking/improvements.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Create reporting on key website metrics.


Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
    • 8+ years of ecommerce experience.
    • Shopify experience a must.
    • This is a hybrid role, ability to be in the office in NYC 2 - 3 days per week is required


Preferred Qualifications:

    • 8+ years' beauty or CPG experience preferred.
    • Front-end development experience a plus.
    • Comfortable with website technology.
    • Experience with Google Analytics, HotJar, and other measurement tools.
    • Strategic + Hands-On: Experience crafting strategy as well as tactical implementation.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Organized and strong project management skills, with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-started who is comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.


Amyris is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $111,500 to $176,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis, and will vary based on the candidate's skills, depth of experience and specific work location. This role is also eligible for equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
