This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You have a strong background in designing sweaters and knits. You are creative, and adaptable and enjoy coming up with new innovative silhouettes and stitches. You love to conceptualize a season that is both fashion and commercially driven and reflective of the creative vision and Tory Burch aesthetic.

A Day in the Life:

The typical day could include sketching, refining materials & palette, and following the development process through engineering and commercialization. The consistent thread is that you'll be working with an amazing team of cross-functional partners within Merchandising and Product Development who share your passion for excellence... and creating beautiful product!

To Land This Role:

• Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 7 years of sweater design experience
• Must provide digital portfolio of work
• Strong taste level, research skills, ability to identify silhouettes, pattern and color within the Tory Burch aesthetic
• Strong hand sketching skills in addition to sketching technical drawings
• Ability to drape new, interesting silhouettes as well as creating interesting new finishings
• Strong working knowledge of Centric PLM, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience developing product directly with factories; understanding of development from concept through engineering
• Must be able to build all tech packs and pass specs in a detailed, organized and clear manner for factory proto sample making
