This person will oversee all our customer communication, creating campaigns that engage, convert and build customer loyalty. The role requires a deep knowledge of email marketing, segmentation and analytics, as well as a real desire to build engaging and personalized messages. The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker who has a proven track record in email and SMS marketing and the ability to foster strong cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Own the content marketing & promotion calendar
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business priorities, source content and execute communications
• Manage the daily email and SMS production process: campaign ideation and briefing, creative development, segmentation, QA and analysis
• Continue to optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns through personalization, dynamic content, segmentation, send time testing and more
• Implement new email and SMS automated flows
• Develop testing roadmap for email & SMS to continuously optimize the channels
• Drive repeat purchase rate and customer loyalty through enticing messaging, correct timing of messages, product recommendations and personalized offers
• Conduct customer surveys to help the team develop a deeper understanding of our customer

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• 5+ years of email marketing required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills, and ability to work in excel
• Experience working in Klaviyo (or similar ESP) and Google Analytics
• Self-starter, with experience working in an entrepreneurial environment
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent writing and communication skills
