Position Overview
We have a exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant to join and contribute to our high-performing Menswear team. The Buying Assistant role provides integral operational support to the Buying team, your assistance will execute and optimise the seasonal strategies and ultimately secure financial success. This is a 6 month contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Order Management in IT system (seasonal, wholesale, and online orders)
* Autonomous Delivery and PO Management in IT system (seasonal, wholesale, and online orders)
* Meticulous data integrity
* Clear communication of order status, challenges, and opportunities to wider team
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify/action new ways of working that optimize efficiency
* Develop strong working partnerships with key stakeholders across the business

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Advanced computer skills (experienced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
* Highly organized
* Ability to manage timelines and juggle priorities
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong team player
* Passionate approach
* Analytical
* Trend and market awareness
* Resilient with an agile and resourceful mindset, able to over-come challenges by focusing on solutions
* Effective communication skills (both written and spoken)
* Previous or similar role in Buying, Planning or Merchandising role is preferable
