The Team

Financial & Tax Reporting Team focuses on both Financial as well as Tax reporting and accounting and has in total 15 associates. Almost all positions concern specialist areas where a solid knowledge of Financial Accounting and/or Tax accounting is key. This is visible in the high level of education each associate has, with almost all associates having completed their Masters. Focus areas include Month-end/Quarterly/Year-end close activities, external Audits on both US GAAP as well as Statutory Audits, P&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow reporting, Tax declaration, guidance and implementation of US GAAP policies with a continued focus on driving optimization and automation.

The Position

The Manager Consolidation & Reporting is responsible for the accounting, reviewing, controlling, reporting and evaluating of the European P&L statements and related business processes and striving for further optimization, improvement and automation. Also with key focus on Inventory Controlling and bringing to next levels.

Responsible for preparing, analyzing, reviewing, evaluating and presenting actual P&L statements for the PVH Europe company as part of month-end closure procedures
  • Full ownership of the preparation and review of the Revenue and Margin components of the European P&L statements including additional disclosures
  • Preparation and reporting of P&L information for senior management both structured and on an ad hoc basis (dashboarding, board decks, presentations)
  • Driving change and further development on designing, monitoring and analyzing of financial key performance indicators, accounting flows and processes related to Revenue and Margin
  • Taking ownership on and further development and optimizing of Revenue and Margin controlling activities like valuation, cost control, business partnering and provisioning on divisional and channel level
  • Key spokesperson and single point of contact for Revenue and Margin related topics and analysis; frequently dealing with local European teams and business/operational teams at HQ in Amsterdam
  • Driving, coordinating and business collaborating with IT teams for safeguarding and further development of BI developments in Finance team, including project management (e.g. BlackLine implementation)
  • Participation and support in quarterly and annual preparation, review and submission of Disclosures
  • Internal controls in compliance with SOX and Audit requirements
  • Involvement in further process improvements and related business projects

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience. Experience within retail, supply chain and/or fashion industry preferred
  • Masters in Finance / Business Administration.
  • Skilled in BI, strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, BW, BPC, HANA, Tableau)
  • Proactive, organized self-starter able to drive projects to completion and flexible & deadline oriented with strong business acumen
  • Strong team player with ownership competences. Fitting in our casual company culture
  • People management skills as well as being able to make an impact in a Matrix organization
  • Ability to solve complex problems and dealing with a wide range of issues.
  • Able to clearly articulate finance topics in plain language to various stakeholders. Able to form trusted relationships with (Sr.) Stakeholders
