Summary
We are looking for an Americas Director of Procurement to conduct Indirect Procurement projects in the Americas to create value for both the Kering Group and each of our individual brands.

The Americas Director of Procurement will report to the Group Procurement Director based in Milan and will further boost the best ways to optimize procurement expenses. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals, and find more profitable suppliers.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Manage a team of two
  • Ability to think strategically but willing to act tactically
  • Grow the team's seniority
  • Manage the expectation of stakeholders and develop trust towards the procurement team
  • Manage procurement processes for the different categories (store operations & facilities, and may also include IT, store planning, construction, logistics, professional services, marketing & com, and others)
  • Control spend and further build a culture of long-term optimization on procurement costs
  • Examine existing contracts
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Drive innovation, sustainability, and process improvement with suppliers
  • Develop best practices and benchmarks throughout the brands by continuous involvement of the stakeholders
  • Grow strong internal relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure proper internal communication about Procurement actions and achievements


WHO YOU ARE
  • Great relationship management
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Entrepreneurial motivation
  • MS office skills - advanced in excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English - Spanish, Italian or French is a plus
  • At least 10+ years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a multinational company
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business
