The domain of Marketing Technology within the PVH Europe Technology organization supports technology needs of Marketing departments, including Marketing Operations, Photo Studios, Consumer Insights, and Membership & Loyalty.

It provides technology strategies & facilitates implementation of tools to enable the company's growth and create ever-increasing value for the Marketing departments, enabling personalized marketing by leveraging real time consumer data.

The domain helps develop, implement and orchestrate the initiatives in an agile way from a business perspective until complete operational implementation by cross-functional teams. Teams work in a fully agile and DevOps way, where the team is responsible for the full life cycle of the product, and responsible from idea to design, development, quality, production and support in production.

The Position

The goal of Tommy Hilfiger membership and loyalty initiative is to deliver the best way to experience the brand. It spans several departments including business, marketing, ecommerce, and retail with the goal of creating a seamless consumer experience across all channels, connecting online and offline user experience.

As a technical product owner for the loyalty program, your role will include alignment with business stakeholders on functional requirements and with technical counterparts on delivery strategy; assessment and selection of new tools and platforms, such as CDP and loyalty engine; and leading software teams in their implementation into the organization's backend landscape (AWS, Kafka, Java) as well as development of consumer-facing membership hub (React, Typescript).

You will be responsible for development, design, quality and support in production of API's, data streaming services, and other microservices related to consumer data needed to roll out the loyalty initiative in a phased approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing product delivery for data driven loyalty initiative
  • Driving and owning current and target loyalty solution by:
    • gathering business requirements
    • aligning with multiple stakeholders across Ecom, Retail, Marketing, Technology and others
    • creating the roadmap for the target solution
    • researching potential 3d party systems
  • Playing an active role in resource planning and hiring needed to deliver on the roadmap
  • Communicating with vendors and partners on standards and expectations
  • Leading a transparent, data driven prioritization process with the goal of delivering value every sprint
  • Owning the section of the PVH consumer data landscape surrounding the loyalty platform
  • Transforming business-driven ideas and wishes into a structured yet agile development agenda and roadmap for the initiative
  • Participating in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures
  • Being a strong technical counterpart and trusted resource for non-technical Product Owners in the larger organization.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership / Technical Product Ownership
  • Experience in Program Management is a plus
  • Driving adoption of best-practices of collaborative work delivery (i.e. Agile, Lean)
  • Experience with clear goal setting and data-driven validation (product and process)
  • Background in software development is a plus
  • Technically hands-on, can help diagnose issues or expand the detail behind a bug report.
  • Good understanding of high-level software architecture
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services products is a strong plus
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain advanced technical products to non-technical members of the organization.
  • Experience in fostering "we build it, we run it" culture
  • Statistical/qualitative/quantitative analysis and reporting (verbal and written)
  • Working experience in collaboration with vendors and partners
