Overview
The Business of Fashion is seeking a Marketing Associate - Customer Engagement to create, execute and optimise cross-channel marketing campaigns to drive member engagement and conversion. Working in support of the BoF Professional and BoF Insights missions, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, collaborative growth marketing team, with the overall goal of growing our global, paid membership base.

What We Need You To Do
Leveraging our customer engagement platform (Braze) and onsite marketing assets, the Marketing Associate - Customer Engagement will execute regular campaigns to engage members and prospects with BoF Professional content.
In being successful in this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the creation, execution and optimisation of all customer engagement campaigns, including but not limited to: BoFLIVE events, case study launches and monthly membership round-ups Coordinate launch campaigns for BoF Insights reports Support the Senior Marketing Manager, Membership in the marketing of BoF Professional Summits Maintain the marketing content campaign calendar, creating clear campaign timelines and managing all related deadlines Provide clear creative briefs to the internal design team Track and report all related campaign performance metrics and propose opportunities for improvement Work in collaboration with the Marketing Operations Specialist to optimise campaign targeting, effectiveness and efficiency
Who You Are
With a passion for digital marketing, combined with a keen understanding of the role of customer engagement in driving membership growth, you’ll have experience of executing and optimising high-frequency, high-volume marketing campaigns utilising a customer engagement or email marketing platform (such as Braze, Mailchimp or Active Campaign).
You won’t need experience in fashion, but will have a passion for digital marketing, combined with the following skills to set you up for success:
- The ability to independently build and execute marketing campaigns A good understanding of customer segmentation, content marketing and the role of customer engagement in driving paid membership growth Experience in creating and maintaining campaign calendars, plans and timelines A good understanding of effective campaign creative and how to create clear creative briefs Excellent written English, including clear and concise copywriting and exceptional proofreading skills Data literacy, including an understanding of how to track campaign performance, build an Excel report and present campaign outcomes and recommendations in Powerpoint Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities Effective stakeholder management, a positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a small growth team in which priorities and workload sometimes shift Flexibility to ‘pitch in’ with workload across the team as needed
