About the Role

The Visual Merchandising Specialist is responsible for driving the visual standards across selected accounts across one region primarily, and all regions as required. This role is office based with no direct reports but will support and coach selected franchisees remotely in delivering the Gap Inc. visual proposition to deliver against functional VM metrics. In collaboration with the Regional Visual Manager and the regional team, this role will drive the franchisee's commercial plan, applying VM commercial tactics to support the franchisee in meeting and exceeding identified financial goals or targets. This role will be required to work across all Gap Inc. brands, supporting with development of functional tools and trainings. This role calls for an agile and organized candidate, who is able to prioritize multiple competing demands, working with pace and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Deploys the functional regional strategy with selected accounts, including the review and validation of windows, instore signage and floor plans
  • Knows KPI's and goals for selected accounts, how markets are performing to those goals & has action plans in place to achieve results in areas of influence.
  • Maintains awareness of competition and reacts appropriately through visual solutions & focuses on supporting partners to improve KPI's through effective product presentation and store merchandising.
  • Delivers functional service level and project work, in line with business and partner priorities, with ability to prioritize high value work
  • Uses appropriate tools and resources to validate, develop and launch new store points of distribution which meet capacity and tiering targets in partnership with Store Design

Who You Are

  • Established visual merchandising experience at Flagship/Top store level in a similar retail environment. Wholesale VM experience would be advantageous.
  • Strength in coaching, influencing and relationship building skills across internal and external teams
  • Excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent at multi-tasking, effective time management skills + ability to manage / prioritize workload
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to & willing to travel domestically and internationally
