The role

In this role, the Senior Manager, Paid Media will drive marketing strategies, leading a team to execute and optimize Affiliate, Display, Paid Social, Paid Search and CSE channels to grow sales and acquire new Bergdorf Goodman customers. This individual will set the vision to optimize and grow efforts across with internal teams and agency partners.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Paid Media managers to develop marketing channel annual roadmaps and strategies for Affiliate, Paid Search/CSE, Display and Paid Social to optimize the channels to grow sales and new customers
  • Create monthly forecasts by channel to drive sales growth and meet ongoing goals
  • Oversee 3 direct reports and agency partners, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns (creative, segmentation, tracking)
  • Manage team, prioritizing needs with the biggest business impact, managing bandwidth and coaching career growth
  • Lead ongoing meetings with clear agendas and timelines to ensure progress made across new initiatives
  • Ensure monthly optimizations, testing & roadmap aligns to Bergdorf Goodman strategic goals
  • Develop new processes as needed, fostering strong relationships with Promo Team, agency partners, CRM, Creative, Merch, Marketing, Site, CoOp and Dev Teams
  • Proactively problem solve roadblocks as needed
  • Lead team to optimize Paid Media channels ongoing to meet monthly goals
  • Proactively find ways to optimize retargeting and prospecting efforts, leveraging data to inform content, cadence and targeting changes
  • Create testing roadmap (creative, frequency, bid, targeting), partnering with Analytics to set up tests to gain clear learnings of incremental returns for new and existing tactics
  • Monitor, pull, analyze and share weekly and monthly performance to goals and learnings (what's working, opportunities to optimize)
  • Leverage learnings to improve ROAS
  • Present and keep key stakeholders informed ongoing of performance to goals
  • Act as the Paid Media subject expert, sharing benchmarks, strategy, competitive trends and industry changes
  • Establish benchmarks and creative best practices
  • Lead meetings educating internal partners about Paid Media (impact to the business, how they work, sample partners, how to partner together)


Who we are looking for
  • 7-10 years of experience managing Paid Media at an agency or in house
  • Experience across Paid Search, CSE, Affiliate, Display and Paid Social marketing channels
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to lead teams to meet deadlines, and prioritize
  • Experience with creating roadmaps, cross channel strategies, A/B tests and
  • Extremely organized project management skills, comfortable leading technical email trigger and mobile app tracking setup
  • Strong leadership and management experience of teams internally and advertising agencies
  • Deep understanding of mobile app tracking setup, ability to lead technical execution across teams
  • Ability to up-level and clearly communicate strategies while at the same time able to execute campaigns at the tactical level
  • Strong partnership skills to coordinate with Dev, agency and Analytics teams
  • Strong desire and curiosity to learn, continuously improve and expand skills
  • Passion for the Paid Media landscape, proactively monitoring competition and trends to bring new ideas to Bergdorf Goodman
  • Exceptional proactive project management and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of tangible KPIs to meet goals and familiarity with Adobe, Google Analytics & Tableau
