The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for daily management and oversight of eCommerce claims and associated systems and reporting. Has supervisor responsibilities for two associates that oversee the end-to-end processing and maintenance of daily claims workflow associated with our various carriers.

The Supervisor will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives and projects that will push forward the department's overarching goals. This includes partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to help identify and improve both new and existing processes based on business needs.

Description
  • Mentoring, growing, and empowering associates while promoting a healthy team culture.
  • Planning daily priorities, workflows, and assignments for staff.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
  • Proactively cross-train internal roles and provide autonomy for associates to actively develop.
  • Maintaining strong communication with the manager regarding all department activities and issues.
  • Delivering and maintaining a catalog of reports based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Work cross-functionally between multiple groups and teams both internal to Neiman Marcus and external carriers/vendors.
  • Ability to work as a liaison between the Logistics department and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to identify and create new processes based on the department's requirements and needs.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent creativity, problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functions, and formulas, etc.


Education:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred or previous Supervisor experience and people development.
