Product Copywriter

OVERVIEW:

La Garconne is seeking a freelance Product Copywriter to write, edit, and oversee entry of all product descriptions on La Garconne's website. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Write concise and informative on-brand product descriptions for all items (RTW, accessories and home) on lagarconne.com.

- Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure product copy is accurate and complete.

- Proofread lagarconne.com and make edits as necessary, to keep product copy on the site consistent and error-free.

- Update designer bios and descriptions.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Minimum 3 years of product copywriting experience in luxury e-commerce fashion.

- Fashion design experience is strongly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of garment construction is imperative.

- Bachelors degree in design, merchandising, journalism or marketing preferred.

- Extremely organized and detail oriented.

- Must be able to manage high volume of product and work well under pressure in meeting pending deadlines.
