Manage all elements of financial planning and analysis for US/CAN retail including the development of a strategic plan, sales, P&L forecasting and budgeting, as well as 3 year planning.


  • Analyse financial results with respect to profit, trends, costs and budget/forecast compliance. Interpret operating results and make specific recommendations that will result in cost reduction and / or profitability improvement. Issue monthly reports to CFO and other executives.
  • Manage store KPIs (profitability, productivity, revenue drivers etc.).
  • Partner with Financial services on monthly analysis (gross margin, opex).
  • Liaise with HR in regards to payroll forecasting and budgeting.
  • Oversee all approval requests to Group Finance (SCIC, forecasts changes, ...)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure visibility into and accuracy of P&L components.
  • Develop and maintain a team of skilled professionals.
  • Maintain appropriate level of documentation for all FP&A processes as well as partner with the overall finance team in maintaining the requested risks and controls matrixes current and updated.


  • MBA preferred
  • Strategic & Tactical Skills: Ability to set clear, achievable, measurable goals for forecast and LRP
  • Communication and Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate business and finance initiatives through the organization, including meetings for financial planning/reviews and business goals
  • Organizational/multi-tasking Skills: Ability to plan/prioritize to ensure efficient and timely deliverables; adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Problem Solving Skills: Ability to coordinate with the senior leadership team to work through operational and finance issues and build consensus toward solutions
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of SAP or similar system; experience with BPC
  • 5-8 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years in retail.
