The Position

The Business Operations department of Calvin Klein Europe, based in the European headquarters in Amsterdam, is currently searching for a talented and data-driven Business Operations Analyst. The department is a diverse, international team with extensive apparel background.

The Business Operations Analyst would work closely with the Senior Director of Business Operations, support analytical reporting, and operational controlling, helping to further drive the European growth. You will report to the Senior Director of Business Operations, who has extensive expertise of the industry and knowledge of the company.

The primary responsibilities are Business area reporting, performance tracking and analysis and support on Operating Expenses control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Operations Director in the tracking and analysis of the operational performance, mile stones, timelines and processes which will be used to draw insights and measures for performance improvement
  • Assist the Business Operations Director in the analysis of the consolidated results
  • Support the Business Operations Director in the control and allocation of operational costs
  • Prepare monthly / weekly reporting for divisional stakeholders and senior management
  • Support the Business Operations Director in the daily communication and alignment with divisions, Business Strategy and Finance
  • Coordinate collaboration with the central PVH Europe and CK Global controlling departments to ensure realistic and factual reporting
  • Coordinate distribution and approval of supplier's invoices with the Accounts Payable department
  • Maintain and control the Invoice approver matrix
  • Maintain and distribute the Invoice approval manual
  • Maintain the information database and KPI dashboard, and proactively propose improvements and enhancements
  • Ad hoc projects and requests


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration / Finance / Controlling or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business control related position, preferably in a wholesale/ retail or apparel environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Preferably working knowledge of SAP FMS / BW
  • High standard of spoken and written English combined with s trong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Outstanding analytical skills and accuracy with numbers.
  • Collaborative, attention to detail and quick thinking.
  • Excellent presentation and knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Flexible self-starter with the ability to deal with time pressure and able to perform in a demanding and very diverse work environment.
  • Ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization
