Primary Purpose: The position is responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of all machinery and material handling equipment, as well as, coordinating the activities of contracted security and housekeeping crews.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Facilities support to...

  • Administer safety, security, and first aid programs on designated shift.
  • Act as primary point of contact for facilities related issues for designated shift.
  • Supervise a maintenance team of mechanics and/or maintenance techs who perform maintenance service and repairs on the conveyor and equipment within the facility. Will also be responsible for other aspects of facility maintenance, i.e.
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical work (High and Low voltage)
  • Contract housekeeping staff
  • Carpentry
  • Painting
  • Service Machine
  • PM -Preventive Maintenance
  • PdM -Predictive Maintenance
  • TPM -Total Preventive Maintenance
  • Planned and Scheduled Maintenance Work Orders (MWO's)
  • Monitor and Control Maintenance Materials and Supply
  • Ensure quality repairs to equipment and systems
  • Validate PM, PdM and TPM work and service worksheets
  • Safety training, new equipment orientation, new tool applications, and selected craft skill training and education
  • Provide direction, coaching, support and instructions to all reporting associates
  • Promote a work environment that motives peers and reporting associates
  • Recognize opportunities for improvements
  • Help develop and monitor facilities maintenance procedures and equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify, analyze, and implement continuous improvement process changes to achieve improved performance and life of the facility equipment
  • Ensure that project/department milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved budgets
  • Lead and manage direct reports through Tapestry values + mission


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance management
  • General facility knowledge surrounding the areas of building equipment (electrical High and Low voltage, HVAC, generators, fire alarms systems) and material handling equipment (PLCs, conveyors, powered industrial trucks, and scanners)
  • Able to read electrical blueprints
  • Knowledge of industrial controls trouble shooting
  • Good estimating, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules (including weekends)
