FIGS is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to join the Finance team. The Strategic Finance Analyst will report directly to the Strategic Finance Manager and work closely with multiple teams, including Finance, Accounting, Data Science, and Marketing. This is a cross-functional role, so this person must enjoy working with other teams. The ideal candidate has earned their chops in either investment banking or management consulting, or has several years of FP&A experience. This person enjoys modeling, big data sets, and thinking about process improvements and other business efficiencies.

What you'll do day-to-day:
  • Work with finance directors to oversee FIGS P&L, including weekly variance analysis, month-end close responsibilities, quarterly reporting, and other key metrics that impact Revenue
  • Support Corporate FP&A and Strategic Finance by improving and automating processes for forecasting and budgeting as well as any needed ad-hoc reporting
  • Work with cross functional business partners to support the annual strategic investment process, which includes ROI analysis across investment opportunities
  • Partner with the Data team to build, maintain, and improve FIGS' data insights function
  • Work with the Accounting team on strategic process improvements and help automate monthly tasks for close
  • Special projects and ad-hoc analysis for key functional partners (ex. Marketing, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, etc.)

  • An interest in e-commerce business drivers and going beyond the numbers to understand the business

  • An unrelenting attention to detail; you hate making mistakes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative or Business field
  • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Strategy, or Management Consulting
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools (Looker, Power Query, Alteryx) strongly preferred
  • Excel mastery and familiarity with Google Sheets
  • E-commerce, consumer products, or retail experience, a major plus
