Senior Production Pattern Cutter

Safiyaa is a British luxury womenswear brand founded by Daniela Karnuts, stocked by leading luxury department stores such as Harvey Nichols, Net-a-Porter. The creative office is based in central London, whilst the brand has its sampling and production Atelier in Tottenham, where the developments and most made-to-order manufacturing is carried out to ensure precision and high quality. 

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Production Pattern Cutter to join as a key team member of a fast-growing high-end womenswear brand based in London. You would be part of a highly motivated, close-knit team, where you would be given a lot of responsibility and opportunity to grow. This is a full-time position.

Role / Responsibilities:

• Leading the production pattern cutting team across our 3 locations - London, Istanbul, New York
• Keeping pattern library up to date and according to production standards
• Marker making and Costings
• Grading and creating grade rules 
• Pattern optimization for cost effective production
• Creating QC measurements charts 
• Working closely with garment tech to ensure pattern information is aligned with tech packs
• Keep relevant information up to date within our PLM system

Requirements:

• Passionate about production pattern cutting
• Expert in gerber
• Open to learn new software like Grafis, Browzwear and CLO
• Expert in grading and creating the best fit in complex garments
• Impeccable understanding of the garment construction and manufacturing
• High attention to detail
• Able to multitask
• Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
• Leadership skills and ability to develop a team
• Fluent in English
