Department Description:

Joining the QA Community, working in the Tech Organization, you will help drive our digital strategy to lead the industry in digital innovation, touching every part of our global business.

Position Description and responsibilities:

To support further growth and professionalization of the Tech Org, we are looking for a Test Automation Specialist to further develop and establish our test automation framework and help our agile teams improve the quality of their products and processes through enhanced testing. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing automation solutions for agile teams, helping define and develop mature quality assurance standards, apply consistent QA solutions, drive adoption, and measurably demonstrate improvements to the quality chain.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases, have an ability to inspire and to train/coach junior testers in test automation, and have a pragmatic mindset with a passion for quality, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems excite and amaze our customers!

Responsibilities:
  • Coach and support the teams in agile test automation (as per the PVH frameworks)
  • Review and analyze requirements and (technical) system specifications
  • Collaborate withdevelopers to develop effective test strategies and plans
  • Assist with the creation of test scenarios
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Develop advanced reporting solutions/dashboards to better communicate the quality (coverage) of our test effort
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile development lifecycle
  • As a core member of the QA Chapter you would be an ambassador for the broader QA Community and drive the ongoing development and adoption of the Automated Test Framework
  • As a core member of the QA Chapter you champion the highest standards, values, and behaviours expected from the QA Community and partners

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role
  • Experience in project management and QA methodologies (ISTQB, TMAP)
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Working knowledge of Behaviour-driven Development (BDD) within a TypeScript framework (CucumberJS)
  • Experience of retail and wholesale apparel processes is beneficial
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Ability to write automation scripts in JS (JavaScript)
  • Good experience of API testing
  • Working knowledge of Selenium
  • Working knowledge of Webdriver.IO
  • Working knowledge of JIRA (X-Ray), Confluence a plus
  • Experience with SAP (as user and as a tester)
  • Experience of API testing
  • Experience setting up and developing the CI/CD pipeline (Kubernetes, GitLab) a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred
