This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You are fluent in interior design and décor with a strong Retail background and experience in the high-end residential realm. Understanding of traditional design language is preferred. You have a refined eye and a strong knowledge of resources and vintage furniture. You're also collaborative, well organized and can communicate strongly both verbally and in visual presentation. Very importantly, you have the ability to work well in a fast paced environment. A sense of humor is a plus!

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is... atypical. You might be visiting design showrooms to gather samples, laying out a furniture plan, balancing a budget or gathering inspiration to tell a decorative story. With your experience, you can translate a design idea into a built piece (e.g. furniture prototyping). You're eye for detail will ensure meeting presentations are ready and top notch. The consistent thread is that you'll be working with an amazing team of women and men who share your passion for excellence.

To Land This Role:
  • At least 5 years managing retail or high-end residential projects (traditional design firm is strongly preferred.
  • Interior Design or architecture degree
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally, in writing, and graphics (Strong editorial judgment and visual sense)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Word/Excel.
  • 3D Modeling would be a plus but not required
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently and efficiently. Detail oriented. Proactive and highly organized.
  • Drawing ability required- floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, custom furniture
  • Manage multiple projects at once
