Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Development and Production Administrator to work in our design department.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To support MHL Product Lead in delivery of MHL seasonal collection from development through to bulk. To provide administrative support for the development and production team across all product areas and lines, so that critical path deadlines and company targets can be met.

MAIN DUTIES:

- Assist MHL Product Lead in delivering seasonal MHL collection, following development of styles in order to communicate on queries to suppliers and update internal departments on changes

- Create and maintain accurate information on the SAP system for item attributes, style set up, BOMs, and update and check costings under direction from Development & Production (D&P) team

- Arrange fitting sessions, booking space and relevant team, including fitting models, and ensuring correct samples are available. Responsible for ensuring all samples are measured ahead of fitting sessions, and checking over comments, flagging pattern or make discrepancies and any quality issues to relevant coordinator

- Maintain a close familiarity with changes and updates to the collection in order to update buyers, ecomm and other relevant parties of accuracy of samples, and alterations expected between samples and bulk

- Update seasonal range plans with correct style data, changes in costings, commodity codes, supplier & fabric COO, garment weight, preferential origin duties, customs description, sustainability data, knit/woven, MOP/horn buttons, stitches per cm, garment dye, care instructions & disclaimer information

- Create and maintain supplier pattern and fabric plans for all suppliers, liaising with Fabric Buyer and D&P team to monitor and update changes, observing updates to sample fabric ex-mill dates, and communicating fabric delivery notes to suppliers

- Update visual range plans following all reviews and collection changes, ensuring correct information is presented to team at all times

- Raise purchase orders on SAP for prototypes, black seals, gold seals, and bulk orders against approved off seasonal range plans, as required and under direction of D&P team

- Support Shoot Producer when required with execution of shoots and events, in accordance with design direction, and to ensure Company objectives are met

- Assist in facilitating the internal management and distribution of all samples; liaising with Design Studio Assistant on incoming and outgoing sample shipments, monitoring Sample Tracker to advise on collection status, ensuring correct stock records are kept and making stock transfers where necessary, and that collection is represented accurately at meetings

- Raise NCIs for all relevant DHL shipments, communicating tracking and packing list information directly to MHL suppliers

- Set up graded spec templates and liaise with Grader for final checks and changes

- Set up care labels and disclaimer tickets for all styles, placing orders with label suppliers in line with the critical path

- Assist in creating packing lists, pulling production trims, stickers and swing tags

- Monitor when bulk styles ship for MHL range, and mark as in transit on POs

- Maintain seasonal wearer trial list

- Organise travel for design team

- Other tasks as required, in assistance to the MHL Product Lead and D&P team, to ensure business needs are met
