Menswear Designer

We are looking for a Menswear Designer with luxury brand experience, who will report directly to the Creative Director and the Head of Design. Please include a link to your digital portfolio within your CV application. 

Your Mission: 

• Research thoroughly seasonal themes and inspirations, fabric and colour concepts as directed by the Head of Design
• Work closely with the Head of Design on inspiring and innovative designs that will be sketched and put into development each season.
• Present inspiring, bold and innovative design ideas Participate in fittings and display a confidence and aptitude in developing styles from sketch to production
• Understand and respect collection deadlines set by the Senior Collection Manager to ensure the timely delivery of the seasonal collection.
• Develop prototypes with confidence to present to the design team and work with the Atelier to amend prototypes and finalise samples
• Work collaboratively with all key departments, including the Merchandising and Product Development to achieve the collection
• Support the head of design for Design meeting preparation
• Support the design team in fittings, take thorough notes during meetings and update sketches
• Create and maintain mood boards on a regular basis

Your Talent: 

• You have Tailoring, Sportswear and casual wear experience with the understanding of a lux brand and codes of menswear
• You enjoy the challenge of working across all product categories
• You have the ability to multi-task and work effectively on several projects simultaneously
• You are a goal oriented, result driven individual
• You are commercially minded, quickly responding to business/market needs.
• You have a high work ethic, integrity and reliability with a "Hands on" attitude
• You have great time management skills
• You are comfortable working additional hours to perform duties, including weekends and also travel when necessary
• You have strong computer skills, including excel and power point
• You are a strong team player and work well with other team members

• You are proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• You are a creative thinker, with the ability to think outside the box and an eye for detail
