Position Overview
The Executive Communications Lead will manage the strategic communications of our Chief Executive Officer, in support of our overall business objectives. You'll work directly with the Head of Employee Communications on all communications, content, and messaging to support a thought leadership and stakeholder engagement program (internal and external) that furthers understanding of our business and cultural shifts. This is a crucial role helping to translate our CEO's passion, personality and POV into a cohesive and compelling messaging and engagement. It also includes tracking engagement, preparing around key events, and exceptional organizational skills and logistics support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Work closely with our Global Corporate Communication & Public Affairs teams, as well as business partners
* Develop annual engagement strategy for our CEO
* Track engagements, support follow up correspondence
* Craft talking points, scripts for live and recorded events, emails, briefing documents
* Coordinate closely with office of the CEO on scheduling, travel and calendar availability
* Ideate and evolve approaches to ensure they are fresh and resonant
* Maintain principles for CEO engagement
* Support creation of social content and strategy
* Oversee all (internal and external) appearances for the CEO from guiding logistics to crafting clear, well-researched talking points, to facilitating briefings to ensure executives are thoroughly prepared executives for both press opportunities and other public speaking engagements
* Accompany the CEO at conferences, events, and appearances as necessary
* On occasion, support other executives and broader communications team with strategies and execution

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Excellent written communication skills
* Demonstrated experience developing brand platforms and narratives for senior leaders
* Big picture thinker with attention to detail. You'll have a clear line of sight into everything going on in the organization and can put that into a framework
* Awareness of the latest trends in media and culture and have a wide network of media and brand contacts in both domestic and international markets
* Excellent writing and visual presentation skills. Writing skills must be impeccable and incumbent must be a clear, concise communicator, with samples to share
* Ability to confidently interact with senior leadership and provide timely feedback and advice
* Experience managing several projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Maintain positivity and poise in even the most stressful situations
* Ability to work with international teams and quickly understand and account for cultural differences
* Hard working with a "no task is too small" attitude
* Hyper attention to detail
* Ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to prepare reports, presentations and recommendations based on a high volume of data
* Strong PowerPoint development skills
